     Jerry was named "Spotlight Artist" for Southern Gospel.Com Internet Magazine in September of 2007 for having two number one songs on the Radioactive Airplay Chart. "Get Behind Me" and "God's Soldiers" (God's Soldiers written by Carol Collins)  both received #1 status in the months of August and September of 2007. Another of Jerry's songs, "Read the Word" has been released and was number one on the Music Review Chart, New York, New York, for December 2007. His new song "Barstools and Church Pews" will be released to radio in the near future. His most recent  songs, "You Are There" and "I Won't Be There" are  nearing completion, the latter having been written by Jerry and Jeannie together. Jerry and Jeannie are now in Music Ministry fulltime, and everything is going well. They spent 17 days on the road last summer, with 8 concerts between Gloucester,Virginia, and Branson, Missouri. Jerry sang at God and Country Theatre in Branson, Missouri, in addition to several churches in the Ozark Mountains, Cowboy Churches, campgrounds, and the CGMA Central Convention in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, which he and his wife Jeannie emceed. 


Jerry and Jeannie traveled  again in May of 2008, doing a 2 week tour which included 1000 Trails Campground, Gloucester, Virginia, several Cowboy Churches in Virginia, Jubilee Coffee House, Indianapolis, Indiana, and 1st Baptist Church of Roselawn, Indiana.
