Good Health!!!! No Cancer!!!! A NEW Thing in our lives from our Lord Jesus! Jerry's pet scan was PERFECT! The d____ didn't win. Again he didn't! Praise God! We are praising God for those wonderful Words, and are reminded each and every day of what we were going through this time last year. And "go through" we did! With the Help of our Jesus! I also received great results from tests I had! Cholesterol at a healthy level now, triglycerides much much lower than at the time of my heart attack last February! (Thank You Lord, medicine, better eating, and doctors!) We look forward to a NEW YEAR of good health and Comfort from our God. We know others have been through so much this past year also. Our hearts have broken for you at times like yours have broken for us. But we have to look ahead, and PRESS ON. Because we know as Christians there is a much better place than here once our work is done. We get to go to the ultimate vacation spot! Heaven! Forever! We leave for Florida on December 27 to serve our Lord in song and testimony. No, it isn't a vacation. Especially for me, since I like Delmarva better. I'll miss the snow, and my Grandchildren, and family and friends. And the snow. Oh, did I already say that? When our fulltime Ministry started out 3 years ago it was a necessity to leave Delaware since we were living fulltime in our motorhome. It isn't a necessity anymore, since we have our cozy little apartment,other than to accept the concerts we are offered to do there. So we go. Just like Jesus and His disciples. If only we can do as good a job as they! I will miss Delmarva. We will be back to Seaford, Delaware, the last week of April to continue our Work "at home", then Virginia, Indiana, Branson, Missouri, and only God knows where else. Pray for our safety, strength, health, and most of all wisdom. We have received SO much help this past year. But you know what? We are very tickled to be back helping ourselves now also. Your help was and is SO prescious to us, and we know it was sent by God, and you listened to Him. Some of you may remember me telling you that when I awoke in ICU after the heart attack and stent placement last February the song "Sheltered in the Arms of God" was playing in my head although I hadn't heard it for years. I want to share some of those Words with you:
"So let the storms rage high, the dark clouds rise, they won't worry me. For I'm sheltered safe within the arms of God. He walks with me, and naught of earth shall harm me. For I'm sheltered safe within the arms of God. Soon I shall hear the call from Heaven's portals. Come Home My Child. It's the last mile you must trod. I'll fall asleep and wake in God's New Heaven.
