"A New Life"

Hello again dear ones. Yes, we are warm and sunny here in Florida. So sorry many of you aren't. We never dreamed we would ever be here in those cold Winter months back home either, so it is possible for anyone, believe me. God alone made it possible for us. And we in turn serve Him here every chance we have. We have had some really great and well attended Concerts and Church services, and have more to come before we leave about April 18, headed to Virginia to sing for a weekend Good Sam Rally, then on home. Our schedule for this year is filling nicely, thanks be to God. I chose the title "A New Life" because of a message from a good friend of mine that they have been blessed with a brand new great-grandson named Brantly. She sent me a picture of him. How prescious is a New Life! It reminded me of the miracle of a birth, and the way God "knits us together in our Mother's womb". The Bible tells us so. We are "Beautifully and wonderfully made" by our Creator God. Think how each organ works in sync, and if they stop working, He has even given man the knowledge to fix it, most of the time. I had honey on my toast this morning, and we marveled at how God gave bees the ability to produce honey for us as food, and the knowledge to harvest it. From a tiny bee. And who knows what will come from a tiny boy? Such as Jesus. I knew the title was from God when I went to move a cup and saw the scripture written on it, John 11:25, "I Am the resurrection and the life." It goes on to say, "He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in Me will never die." Yes, we will all be gone from here some day, but those who believe will have that "New Life" in heavenly places. As our song says "You can put me in the ground, but I won't be there.". We will live in Heaven. Thank You Jesus. I am reminded of my brother and his family who were recently blessed with a new baby boy, Payton. He was born in August. He has brought a whole new meaning to that family's life. He makes them laugh and smile every day. I always hear "he is such a good baby". What a Blessing from God. What a Blessing God is! And even our "baby" Duchess, brings joy to our lives and hearts every single day. We still mourn Duke at times, but this "New Life" named Duchess is such a gift from Him. Another of God's many many gifts to us is our health. We are doing very well, and trying to keep up with His Work the best we can. Our bodies grow weary, as the song says, and we stumble and fall sometimes, in more ways than one. But we appreciate so much this New Life we have because of God's Mercy and Grace. We are still waiting patiently for our new Album release from Tate Music Group. We finalized the editing last month, and should have CD's in hand in March. We have expensive repairs to make to our motorhome right now. Please pray for guidance from God for us on that. It has to be done soon. Jerry is diligently (for days and days now) looking for the wisest and most economical way to go. It seems our invertor is shot. But we are ok and gettin' down the road just fine. It affects our electricity in our motorhome in a bad way. We truly had the best Christmas in so long! No sickness! Praise God! And a really nice surprise from our Grandchildren and their Mom and Dad. We are so thankful for friends and family we have made here in Florida, who keep us busy visiting and eating, and laughing, and praising our Lord! Please keep us in prayer for continued good health. And make sure you are prepared to accept that "New Life" we are promised as Christians. It isn't hard.
