NEWSLETTER JULY, 2010 JERRY JONES MINISTRIES ![]() HOME SWEET HOME Hello Lovely Friends! We are having a great year serving God! As most of you know, we are in full-time Ministry now. Jerry has been for over two years and I left my secular job the beginning of April, 2008. Praise God! Our concert at Sam Yoder's Farm on October 10, 2009, was a huge success thanks to so many people who helped us out as sponsors and attendees. We had 427 people there, and it was truly a night annointed by God. Donnie Sumner did a fantastic job as usual, as did Jerry and the Hagans Family. TV personality Jimmy Hoppa did an exemplary job as our MC, the food was great, and all were pleased with the lovely gifts of song that were shared and the beautiful Concert Hall at Sam Yoder's. Jerry’s songs are now on many charts and playlists all over the world, including Japan, Australia, Austria, New Zealand, in addition to many in the states. This gets the music heard, and that’s why the Lord gave us those lovely songs, so that they would be heard. If in some way He sees fit to bless us for it, praise God! We finished our new CD, "HE LIVES" in July of this year, with some of our brand new favorites, including 2 songs written by Jerry, "Child of God" and "30 Years To Life". This is our favorite CD now, of course. We left "home" for Florida on December 28, 2009 and had 11 concerts there, mostly Campgrounds, in addition to First Baptist Church of Arcadia, Florida. Praise God! We thank God every day for this lovely job we have been given to do for Him. We are spending a lot of time in beautiful Virginia again this summer, going back and forth from our home base in Delaware to Gloucester, VA, Wytheville, Va, Roanoke, Heathsville, Kilmarnock, spreading the message through song and Word. Jerry once again sang in Branson, Missouri, at God and Country Theatre on July 11, back to Delaware the end of July for a few weeks for a benefit Concert and other Ministry opportunities, back to Virginia for a few weeks, then back home to Delaware again, then on to Indiana in October for 2 weeks to serve our Wonderful Savior there. (We are SO blessed). On our schedule are several benefit concerts, always a priority for us. God takes care of us as we care for others. Plan to come to our Concert at Sam Yoder's Farm with Donnie Sumner and The Hagans Family again this year on October 16. Tickets are only $10.00!!!! We have packed the house for three years in a row now, with over 400 people in attendance. Check out our schedule on our website for particulars on all of our concerts. www.jerryjonesministries.com We have about 85 concerts scheduled for 2010 so far so call us soon if you would like us to come for your church service or function. We do still have just a few open dates, and still come for a love offering. Our Lord takes really good care of us, so we leave our finances up to Him. We are scheduling pretty heavily for 2011 already, so keep us in mind for next year too. Also check out our schedule and come to be with us. We love seeing familiar faces wherever we go. With the Lord's prompting we recently initiated a brand new organization, "Fellowship of Christian Artists". Having experienced the rigors of a Gospel Music Ministry for about six years now, God gave specific information to Jeannie concerning how He wanted us to help our fellow Artists. Jeannie is the Overseer of the FCA, with a Board of Advisors and 22 members so far. Please check out that website: www.fellowshipofchristianartists.net . If you would like to donate to our Ministry, we would love that. We always have the high costs of promoting the music, paying for tracks to be used on our CD’s, and for the new songs Jerry writes ($150.00 -$200.00 per song) AND FOR DIESEL FUEL; things that have to be done to get the lovely music heard that the Lord has entrusted us with, while also telling people about Jesus and His Mercy and Grace. We could sure use help with our expenses. *We are in need of a tow vehicle for our motorhome so we will have transportation as we travel. One of our goals when we became full-time was to get out of debt, so we won't finance a vehicle. We will have to pay cash. A donation of a nice 4-wheel drive vehicle, or at a very good price would help us so much!* We must go to Florida, Indiana, wherever God sends us,to serve Him. If it was up to us, we would stay in our comfort zone, Delaware, but God is sending us out, to spread the Word about Salvation, so our King can come back to us. We love Him so much for trusting us to serve Him. What a privilege!* Our address is:

God Bless You. We Love You, Jeannie and Jerry Jones, Jerry Jones Ministries |
